Terms of Sale
1. About us
Movie Night Tickets is supplied by Symington Intelligence Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number [company number]), registered office [registered office address]. VAT number: [VAT number, or delete if not registered]. Email: [contact email].
2. What you are buying
The Party Pack is digital content for one private party. It includes:
- up to 40 named tickets with unique QR codes;
- the door scanner for that party;
- a private event link to use them on your devices.
Free sample tickets are watermarked and do not work with the door scanner.
3. Price and payment
The price is £1.99, including any VAT that applies. Payment is taken by Stripe when you order. The contract is formed when your payment is confirmed. Your Stripe receipt is your confirmation of the contract, and it includes your event link.
4. Your right to cancel
You normally have 14 days to cancel a contract made online. For digital content, that right ends once supply begins, if you agree to this. At checkout you ask us to give you access straight away and confirm that you understand you will lose your right to cancel. Access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed, so you cannot cancel after that. This is set out in regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
5. If something goes wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the Party Pack must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you can ask us to fix it or replace it. If we cannot, you are entitled to some or all of your money back. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
6. Using the service
- The Party Pack is for private, non-commercial use. Do not resell tickets or use them for a paid public event.
- The door scanner needs an internet connection. A camera is recommended; scanning from a photo also works.
- Keep your event link private. Anyone who has it can print tickets for your party and run the door scanner.
- Only enter guests' first names, and only where you are allowed to. See our Privacy Notice.
- Showing a film at home to family and friends is generally a private screening. Showing it to the public, or charging for entry, may need a licence from the rights holder. Arranging this is your responsibility.
- Movie Night Tickets is not connected with any film studio, distributor or cinema chain. Film titles you enter are for your own tickets only.
7. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. We are not liable for business losses. Apart from these points, our total liability is limited to the price you paid.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. Party records are deleted 90 days after purchase. Your ticket images stay on your own devices.
9. Complaints and law
Please contact [contact email] with any problem and we will try to resolve it quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
